Meadowcroft Museum of Rural Life

Recently renovated, this museum provides a close look at the region’s early inhabitants, from pre-Columbian times to the 19th century. One attraction, the Meadowcroft Rockshelter, is a still-functioning archaeological dig said to be North America’s longest continual site of human habitation. Open Wednesday through Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
