New hours on Sundays will be 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and new hours on Wednesdays will be 10 a.m.–8 p.m.  The MF Café will also feature extended hours beginning Aug. 7. The café will be open on Sundays from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. and from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Wednesdays.

"Weekend afternoons are the busiest times at the museum," according to a press release sent to City Paper. "The additional hours on Sunday mornings will allow guests to visit before the afternoon rush. Wednesday evening hours will provide an alternative to the weekend for those who are unable to make it to the museum on weekdays."
