Lynn Speakman Quintet

Enjoy some free jazz live! Lynn Speakman (alto saxophone/flute) has been a performer, composer, arranger, copyist, and music educator for the past 20 years. Her career has given her the opportunity to perform with bands such as the Christian McBride Big Band, Gerald Wilson and His Orchestra, Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, and Wycliffe Gordon Big Band as well as her own small groups. The Lynn Speakman Quintet will perform original compositions and arrangements written by Lynn as well as Hard Bop era repertoire from the books of the Cannonball Adderley Quintet, Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, and more.
