There are two major stories going on at the moment in Lynn's mind. First, in a few hours from now there is going to be a gun rights support rally outside the Pittsburgh City County building. Then there is the shutdown. If it continues throughout the week it will be the longest shutdown in American history.
Hamilton the musical is currently in town. Lynn is sorta offended by what Broadway has become: the overpriced, and difficultly to get tickets. She also believes that she will end up being underwhelmed due to such hype, and has no plans to see it. Over the weekend there was a reading of a play in New York by Ishmael Reed challenging Hamilton called “The Haunting of Lin-Manuel Miranda.”
