.29 cents a pound at Giant Eagle. (course you have to spend $25 in groceries - easily done.) If these birds cost $4 a pound then a 20 lb. bird would cost $80. They probably are excellent eating and its awesome that they are treated humanely. But I don't know many people that would - or even could - spend $80 for a turkey. Just sayin.
Hey Fred - thanks for the review. What an interesting subject. Had to look up the word androgyny. I had a lesbian friend at school who was a butch and her name could also denote either sex. It took me a good week to figure out whether she was man or woman - she kept mentioning her wife and it kind of threw me off. It's also embarrassing when you say "Sir" to a woman on the phone who has a deep voice. Oops. Anyway, it really does sound like interesting reading.
