Re: “End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones

I was just saying yesterday (4-26-07) how completely sad I am knowing I will never be able to see The Ramones live again. I consider myself extremely lucky to have seen them many times live, getting to meet them, and having their autographs on my guitar, however, knowing Johnny, Joey, and Dee Dee are is just so sad. It is a great loss to fans and to music as well. It is so great that this film was completed before Johnny's death. It is an excellent film to see for fans of The Ramones and fans of Rock-n-Roll music alike. They were such an influential band (AND...B E F O R E The Sex Pistols)...the true founders of "Punk". Please do yourself a favor and see this film. It is a great "rockumentary", and should be seen by all music fans. R.I.P. are missed by many, and Tommy, for the sake of all Ramones fans...please give us something new we can lookforward to...Marky too! Both of you are not forgotten, PLEASE know that!) Gabba, Gabba Hey and "all good cretins go to Heaven" Linderloo
