Landlord-Tenant Town Hall

Pittsburgh has a serious shortage of affordable housing — the city’s rapidly changing East End in particular. Pittsburgh District Judge Mik Pappas will moderate this community forum at the Bloomfield-Garfield Community Center in collaboration with Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts. They plan to provide the East End community the chance to share their perspectives on the local housing market and hear from attorneys, stakeholders, and other experts. Topics to be discussed include legal issues that come up in Landlord-Tenant cases, housing-related initiatives underway at the state and local level, and how landlords can be incentivized to participate in affordable-housing programs.
