I went to ARTspace & Coffeehouse (located in Point Breeze) after a fellow-worker recommended their SMOKE-FREE back patio and their FREE wireless (which works very well on the patio). I came with no expectations and thought to myself "it's just another coffeehouse in the East of many". Well, I was presently surprised and stayed for almost 6 hours that day (then came back for many more times). So beside their truly amazing back patio (smoke & pet free), the “dirty Americano” and scone I got on the first day in there were serious. I am a coffee snob and cannot stand some other coffeehouses that pretend they know what they’re doing. These guys are serious about their coffee and have my vote. The next day, I came back to meet some friends and we all had lunch there. They have a marvelous vegetarian lunch menu and we all had enjoyed our lunches (plus these incredible smoothies some of us got). The place is very clean and the baristas are so nice and good at making these drinks. I’ve been coming back many times since my first time and must recommend this café to everyone. I bike everywhere but there are lots of parking spaces around (unlike Shadyside & Sq. Hill) and some of my friends even came with a bus (runs on Fifth Avenue). Check them out…you will NOT be disappointed…I assure you.
