JH: Mechanics of a Legend

Using the language of mechanics, century old ballads & primary historical records to explore the legend of John Henry. A group of local artists join forces w/ Anya Martin of Hiawatha Project to measure the myth, the man & the machine, revealing a poetic & dangerous truth inside the machinations of history, rooted in the economics of slavery.
