International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is a globally recognized event celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. But it’s also a time to highlight the gender inequities currently facing women and to develop strategies to eliminate these disparities. This event at Alloy 26, at Nova Place, will feature a panel on women in the workplace, along with another panel discussion on women in politics and how to run for office. For those looking to relax, there will yoga at Union Fitness next door and a happy hour. -Rebecca Addison
