Heidi, the heartwarming story made famous by novelist Johanna Spyri, is the children's play presented by the Carnegie Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 27 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m. All performances will be at the historic Andrew Carnegie Music Hall, 300 Beechwood Avenue in Carnegie. The part of Heidi is played by Emily Macala, a drama student at the Carnegie Performing Arts Center who attends 3rd grade at Chartiers Valley. Her grandfather, the Alm Uncle, is portrayed by Carlynton High School student Zavier Helbig. The play takes place in both the Swiss Alps and
