Hearing Dog Meet & Greet

Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities! Come meet Hearing Dog Team, Fran Flaherty and Olympia IV. Olympia will demonstrate how she helps Fran, a deaf artist, teacher, and mother, navigate through a “hearing world.” Meet puppies-in-training and their puppy raisers. Hear stories of how these adorable pups become incredible partners to people with disabilities. Canine Companions for Independence enhances the lives of children, adults and veterans with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships, all at no cost to the recipient.
