Re: “On natural gas special, WPXI gives us plenty of gasbags

Wow. I was really disappointed in this show. First of all I don't think they should have used news people to do it. That really ruined their credibility in my eyes. It was so blantantly done only for revenue, which I understand, but don't try to pass it off as some in depth news investigation.

Nuclear energy may be a clean option, but how do you not even mention the biggest drawback---what to do with the nuclear waste.

How do you do a fair report when the people paying for it are gas companies, Westinghouse and others with a vested interest.

There are really questions about how many jobs will be created by marcellus shale drilling, but the show doesn't question the numbers at all.

And what about visiting some of the people who went for the money and now regret the drilling on their property. It's not only people being effected by this. You don't have to travel very far, only to Butler county, to see the effects on animals.

WPXI has done previous shows on issues that were actually well done and not "sponsored" by the very industries they were about.

This one should have said "paid programming". I think it was thrown together just to be able to take the money and run. Shame on you Channel 11. Your audience deserves better.
