Frogs

Consider the frog — its "anatomy and evolution to its moral symbolism and its role as muse to artists" — at Carnegie Museum of Art's Frogs: A Conversational Dissection. Inspired by sculptor Margaret Honda's new piece, a five-foot, frog-like creature lying prostrate on a carpet, the talk features Jennifer Sheridan, Curator of Amphibians and Reptiles at Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and Christopher Nygren, assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh. If you can't make the discussion, make sure to check out the sculpture before it hops away on Jan.
