Re: “Mamma Mia!

I am sure you are one of the world's best critics, but with the world being in the state that it is today can't you just stop interjecting your negatives and think of the positives in this movie? We are talking about 3 middle aged women and three over-the-hill guys who are singing and dancing their hearts out to some of the best songs ever written. It is a joy to go to a movie where people look actually happy throughout almost the entire movie. I went with three friends and my granddaughter (12) and we ALL laughed until our sides hurt.So did everyone else in the theater, I think. Meryl Streep does a great job singing on a mountain top with her hair blowing in her face and hitting high notes with the best of them. She actually made the song come alive. Let's see you do this!! I plan to buy this movie as soon as it comes out on DVD and the soundtrack as well. And I have never done that with a movie before. I'm sure I will still br laughing on the 100th viewing of the film, just as I still laugh and cry every time I see Steel Magnolias.
