social distortion Has always been a band thet I have stayed loyal too. I thank Mike for keeping the band alive. It takes a certin person to have that comittment at 47 with a family. Jonny too he came along latter but has also been a main stay. The show was the best social d show I have been to at the ches arena been to alot of their shows. I believe we need a place for underground bands to play at. Back in the day in Pittsburgh we had the electric bananna also the upstage and different places around Pittsburgh and Oakland but thoes days are gone. I hope they can return. Someone should open a place like thoes again. I hope social d comes back next year. Im clean for 6 and a half years inspired by the fellowship my sponcer and the songes of social d like ball and chain, angles sing, pleasure seeker Started listening to them when I was 12 and now am 33 early on never knowing some of the songes were about Mike's experence with recovery.
The other thing is thet Mike always makes time for his fans never comes across thet he is better than any of them alway has stayed humble and came from a broken home and the gutter. Thanks Mike and Pittsburgh City Paper
