#ENOUGH: National School Walkout

When: Wed., March 14, 10 a.m. 2018
Price: Free
On Feb. 14, bullets rang through Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., killing 17 students and teachers. Since that mass shooting, high-school students in Florida have led a rallying cry calling for legislators to enact stricter gun-control laws. And today, students across the U.S. will follow the Parkland students’ lead and participate in school walkouts to protest gun violence. The Women’s March is organizing #ENOUGH: National School Walkout, and at least 20 Pittsburgh-area high schools are participating, including Taylor Allderdice High School, in Squirrel Hill; West Allegheny High School, in Imperial; and North Allegheny High School, in Wexford. Learn more about the walkouts at the Women’s March website. -Ryan Deto
