I imagine there is more to this story than what's reported. I do know this, my father spent time there in 1985-86. If it wasn't for what they offered him... he may easily have turned into more trouble. The ARC House will be rembered for its internal accomplishment in my mind. It seems surprising to me that we live in communities where there are problems and some organization comes along to assist in working out some of those issues with people. In turn, where will these troubled people without rehab. turn. I imagine back out into the street, right back into the community that we so desperatly want to "clean-up". What is the real issue here; so the church and some people get to split a whole bunch of money, there's a shocker. Profit From Non-Profit minus People...
