Drag Queen Story Hour

Pittsburgh comedian and mental-health advocate Gab Bonesso shared in her Pittsburgh City Paper column last week that the question kids ask her the most when she tours the country is, "Is it OK to be gay?" The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is one local organization helping to spread messages of self-acceptance and kindness to kids 5-years-old and younger. At Drag Queen Story Hour, kids get to sing, dance, and hear a story promoting literacy and gender expression. The program has been expanded this month for Pride, held every Saturday at a different Carnegie Library location across the city.
