Double release party for two local world-influenced guitarists

On Saturday, March 16, the James Simon Sculpture Studio will host a performance celebrating the release of two new albums from two of Pittsburgh's busiest local acoustic guitarists, Jon Bañuelos (of Alma Mura and Alba Flamenca) and Daryl Shawn. Expect a mix of energetic rhythms and devious melodies in solo sets, plus they'll join for the first time ever as a duo. The James Simon Sculpture Studio is located at 305 Gist St. in Pittsburgh. Admission is $10 at the door, and doors open at 7:30, with music at 8 pm. All ages are welcome, it's BYOB.
