The Madwomen Reading Series presents the fourth annual Dorothy Louise Holley Memorial Reading featuring poet Betsy Sholl. Sholl’s ninth collection of poetry is House of Sparrows: New and Selected Poems. She has taught in a range of places, from prisons to MIT, and currently teaches in the MFA in Writing Program of Vermont College of Fine Arts and served as Poet Laureate of Maine from 2006 to 2011. While in her 80’s, the late Madwoman Dorothy Holley published four volumes of poetry. Gailliot Center, Carlow University Commons. Reception and book signing following the reading.
