The "Dogs for Democracy" event on Sunday, September 8th in Pittsburgh, PA, was a dog parade and walk across the Roberto Clemente Bridge and through town to the Omni William Penn Hotel where Vice President Kamala Harris was temporarily residing.
The event featured local dogs and was aimed at engaging the community in the democratic process while celebrating their love of pets. Attendees and their furry friends joined together to march through the city, promoting voter registration, education, and participation in the upcoming 2024 President election.
Attendees met to celebrate civic engagement with the joy of walking alongside furry companions, encouraging people along the route to get involved in their local democracy and vote.
Dogs were provided matching bandanas by Piper & Co. New dog supporters can follow
