Re: “Gender Gap

I have seen Jessi's performance at Peep Show productions. It was well done, professional and at all times feminine. I met her after the show and at a club later. Jessi is a wonderful talented woman and expresses her femininity well. I know many born women who show a much more male side. Seeing her discriminated against as a woman shows how far we transgendered have yet to go in the world. I personally live full time and have made the commitment to continue my transition. I will have SRS in 2008. But I totally respect and accept others who, for one reason or another, cannot follow my path. Does surgery or name change who we are?? I don't think so and never will. If I never had my surgery, never changed my name or did not live full time would I be a different person inside?? Of course not. Jessi is following the path which is right for her. Jessi, I applaud you and salute your performance and the woman you are! SHAME ON ANY EVENT WHICH WOULD EXCLUDE HER OR SAY SHE IS NOT WOMAN
