Our first and probably our last visit to Pino's. The service was splendid and the old building was lovely. The booths do not leave enough height to cross your legs, very uncomfortable. We were only the second table seated at 530pm and they sat us right next to the other table... odd. The restaurant was very cold, and every time the door opened the frigid air poured right over our feet. I had to have dinner with my coat and scarf on. They had several space heaters, but were inefficient to keep the place comfortable. The restaurant was not busy at all for a Friday night. The salads were fresh and the dressing was excellent. I ordered the Lobster, shrimp, and scallop pasta. The pasta was a big ball of stuck together noodles, and the lobster was raw along with some of the scallops. I ate the shrimp and a few of the scallops that was it. My husband took home the pasta. I told the server about the food and she apologized. The owners wife was in the dinning room and stopped and spoke with everyone but us. The Chef himself came out of the kitchen and skipped over us as well. We left very unhappy and felt our Valentines dinner had been spoiled. The coffee, tea, and the Taramsu my husband had after dinner was really good. I do not think we will return anytime soon, maybe when the weather breaks we will give it another try. We shall see.
