Critics' Picks: Hamish Anderson at Club Cafe

[BLUES] + TUE., JULY 11

The cool thing about living in a global society, other than international viral videos of dogs, is that regional music can influence people who live across the globe. Despite growing up in Australia, Hamish Anderson was deeply influenced by American blues and rock. He even has “Last Act to Open for B.B. King” on his résumé. He’s joined at Club Café tonight by the even bluesier (and local) Dan Bubien and The Delta Struts. 7 p.m. 56 S. 12th St., South Side. $10. 21 and older. 412-431-4950 or www.clubcafelive.com
