Almost Extinct

Musician and goatee enthusiast Ted Nugent is playing at the Palace Theatre in Greensburg tonight, but I would never recommend that to you in a million years. These days, Nugent is known more for his extreme right-wing beliefs than actual music. He regularly spews nonsense so offensive, that if it came out of the mouth of a movie villain, you’d think the writers were overdoing it. As an antidote to this man being within a 50 miles of the city, The “F—k Ted Nugent!” Extravaganza will be held at the Mr. Roboto Project, featuring music from both local and traveling acts, including Down They Fall, Almost Extinct, Lokal Foreners, Rowan Erikson and more, as well as speakers and food vending. There will also be a collection for local nonprofit organizations.

5:30 p.m. 5106 Penn Ave., Bloomfield. $5. All ages.
