Critics' Pick: Sextile at Brillobox | Music | Pittsburgh | Pittsburgh City Paper

Los Angeles punk rockers Sextile are named after an astrological term signifying cooperation and harmony, which the band certainly has, but not in the calm way you’d imagine. Its sound is dark and energetic, drawing from punk, ambient music and the occult. It’s like the music that would play in an underground club attended only by witches. Supporting the show at Brillobox are the local darkwave duo Bring Her, noise-punk group Death Instinct and DJ Erica Scary.
