Critics' Pick: Greywalker at Mr. Smalls | Music | Pittsburgh | Pittsburgh City Paper

Is a release party for a new flavor of hot sauce the correct time and place for a metal show? It is if the metal band in question teamed up with a hot-sauce brand to make its own flavor. Local death-metal crew Greywalker partnered with Allegheny City Farms, best known for its hot sauce and other peppery condiments, to create a new fiery variety: “Melo-death.” The release show at Mr. Smalls will feature performances by the band/hot-sauce entrepreneurs, as well as hard rock from Stone Cold Killer and the distorted grindcore of Video Tapes.
