Crafting Conversations: A Call and Response to Our Changing Climate through Art

Contemporary Craft and Creatives 4 Climate present the group exhibition Crafting Conversations: A Call and Response to Our Changing Climate through Art. Located Downtown at Contemporary Craft’s BNY Mellon Satellite Gallery in the lobby of the Steel Plaza T-Station, the show encourages transit users to consider their environmental impact with works demonstrating how local artists are attempting to lessen their contributions to climate change. A press release says Crafting Conversations “invites viewers to take a ‘long view,’ suggesting we shift our thinking, actions, and culture to allow for a more sustainable, life-affirming relationship between human and non-human nature.”
