Coding Zines with Lara Schenck

Let’s dip our toes into computer programming by way of...zines! We will program our zines with web languages, programming layout and style with HTML/CSS, and using JavaScript to code playful, optional enhancements into our content with text manipulation and text generation algorithms. After programming our zines, we will print and enhance them with traditional, physical "cut and paste" methods. Before you know it, the first edition of your zine is complete, and can be distributed both physically and digitally! Assemble 21+ Workshop tickets include drinks, snacks and all project materials.
