Join us for our discussion of For the Benefit of Those Who See by Rosemary Mahoney (DB77851). An educator describes her experiences teaching at a school for the blind in India. Details her fears and the challenges of translating the sighted world for her students. Also profiles the founder of the school, Sabriye Tenberken. The Coalition Book Discussion is in partnership with the Health Committee for People with Disabilities of the Consumer Health Coalition. An ASL interpreter will be present at this event.
