Join us for our discussion of Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson (DB80035). Attorney and law professor Stevenson discusses founding the Equal Justice Initiative, a legal practice dedicated to defending those most desperate and in need. Describes one of his first cases–defending Walter McMillian, a young man sentenced to die for a notorious murder he insisted he didn’t commit. 2014. The Coalition Book Club is in partnership with the Health Committee for People with Disabilities of the Consumer Health Coalition.
