Wow,I too am appalled that I am accused of drawing a parallel between the newly elected board and terrorist. Have you seen the movie? At the end of the movie a parable is told. In the parable a child breaks his arm and all the villagers declare it a terrible thing. A wise man replies’ “We’ll see.” Later the youth is differed from military service because of the previously injury. Everyone proclaims this results to be good to which the sage relies, “We’ll see.” As the story continues other negative and positive developments result from the broken arm. The point is there are few events in life which can be categorized as absolutely good or bad. There are always positive and negative results. Mr. Fleming asked me to characterize the results of the elections. We were walking out the door. I was tired. I didn’t realize he was looking for a quote. I made reference to the parable in the movie, not the terrorist. He had not seen the move. I am actually very optimistic about the Board being able to work together and accomplish great things for our neighborhood. I love the energy that has come forward and hope it not only remains, but increases. We have a lot of hard work ahead of us
