    Re: “State of Reform
Where do these "$50 billion saved" figures come from? 50% of health care costs are not administrative. In the worst case example, small private insurers cite 25% of their costs under administration, but the larger ones are as little as 6%. Medicare's administrative costs get passed down to the private insurer, or the IRS. It doesn't go away.

Maybe instead they should work on tort reform in PA so doctors don't have to practice "defensive medicine" against litigation. That costs us money in the form of sky high malpractice premiums and unnecessary tests.

Nice to see that you guys spent as much time editing this article as you did writing it. Up too late listening to Rage Against the Machine?

He could have done the same thing with a base ball bat (which would cause you more damage), which anyone can use as well. Or just rob your house when you're not there. The issue is about law enforcement and getting them to kill less people using non-lethal means. At least with Tasers they don't kill people they didn't mean to take down, which is often the result of their shootings.

While the police have shown some questionable tactics from time to time, I have a hard time feeling any sympathy for these masked idiots. These are the same jerks that skateboard where they're not supposed to, put graffiti everywhere, and toss bricks during peaceful protests. They got what they deserved. Take the masks off and get a job, kids!
