Champlevé Lapel Pin

Champlevé is an enamel technique that fills indented areas on metal with colored enamel. During this workshop, students will prepare a 1” - 1.5” drawing on copper, and form a base for packing colored glass enamels. After the process of torch firing, and grinding the piece students will come away with a unique champlevé lapel pin! Some metal work experience is helpful, but not required.
