The Carnegie Mellon Wind Ensemble opens its season with a thrilling program featuring three students. Jennifer Jo, flute, on Philip Sparke’s A Lindisfarne Rhapsody opening with a reflective flute solo and ending with the Wind Ensemble having the final say. Brothers, Kevin and Matthew Hannequin, on trombone and trumpet respectively, perform Herbert L. Clarke’s warm and lyrical Cousins.
