George Vosburgh & Thomas Thompson, Co-Directors Stephen Story, Associate Director Emily Gallagher, soprano The Carnegie Mellon Wind Ensemble utilizes a flexible instrumentation of winds, brass, and percussion to perform repertoire from standard concert band works to contemporary compositions of various instrumental combinations. Repertoire: John Adams, Short Ride in a Fast Machine Eric Whitacre, October Frank Tichelli, Angels in the Architecture John Philip Sousa, Manhattan Beach John Philip Sousa, The Gallant Seventh William Schuman, George Washington Bridge Aaron Copland, The Red Pony Film Suite Cost: Free and open to the public, but a ticket is required.
