Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Alternative Homecoming
When: Sat., Nov. 9, 7-10 p.m. 2019
High school dances can be awkward, as any event would be when teens are invited to dress up and dance to Pitbull in their school’s gym. If you or a teen wants to opt out of such an event, check out Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Alternative Homecoming. The theme is “festival vibes,” so there will be flower-crown making and face painting. Plus there will be gender-inclusive bathrooms and a sensory friendly space.
