The Rex Theater, in Pittsburgh's South Side, re-opens after a minor fire

Posted By on Thu, Apr 7, 2016 at 3:18 PM

On April 1, the Rex Theater in the South Side, suffered a minor fire in the rooftop air conditioning unit, forcing the venue to cancel a couple of shows, including Pink Talking Fish and Kimock. Today, the Rex team announced that  damage was minimal, and has already been repaired, allowing normally scheduled events to continue. This weekend, throw some love their way by checking out hip-hop competition King of the Burgh 8 tomorrow, April 8, and modern bluegrass band Cabinet on April 9. If you bought a ticket for one of the canceled shows, refunds are available at place of purchase.
