If he was more willing to work with people than I would take your conclusion more seriously. This is a guy who once said to me "if sloth and cowardice were taxable, you’d be in more hot water with the IRS than chris tucker" - we got 100s of new people into his town to fight for his town and he spit on us. We could go help HOMESTEAD and be welcomed. so why focus on that when he has 100s of young people on what they believe to be his payroll?

As the article says, and you elude, this is about getting the community and the region to help the mon valley. But there's so much pain in the mon valley why focus on the one town where the biggest mouth piece of spitting on you? Does it sucks for the residents? sure

Nationally UPMC isn't seen as a double edged sword. Locally we've made sure there's a difference between The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a doctor. They don't have to REbrand for the New York Times, they have to BRAND. Here they're already a brand(and it's not a happy one anymore, which is why their ads are just happy).

Compare it to Coke and Pepsi- they don't spend billions on expanding, they spend billions on holding their market share. In Pittsburgh, UPMC needs to make sure they keep that share. Cleveland isn't that far away when you're driving a Cadillac. Don't think they can't move east.

Just remember, once West-Penn Alleghany is gone, they're moving east! They just better hope they get there before we do!
