Bahirah

Bahirah is a 22 year old black queer artist who grew up in Wilkinsburg. She’s been creating ever since she can remember doing most things. Art is a major part of her life that influences almost everything she does. Growing up black, Muslim, gay, and non-male has shown her that the world isn’t always kind and finding others like her isn’t easy. Setting out to create the world she once thought existed as a young child is something she likes to do through art, and in doing so hopes to find community!
