Avi Diamond

Influenced by artists ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to Radiohead, Avi Diamond slides herself into a peculiar but endearing niche of sound. Diamond’s most recent EP, Wolfmother, is sometimes almost pure folk, but it often draws from alternative music, jazz influences and Celtic harmonies. She’ll perform at Buhl Community Park in the second of eight weekly performances of the Solar Concert Series. The 11th annual edition is a joint project of the Saturday Light Brigade and the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.
