It is very sad to see the Holiday close. I found it in '92, when I was there running Bill Clinton's Campaign in Western PA. Since then I have returned every four years again running Dem. Presidential Campaigns as well as Gov. races.
I will always remember the friendly atmosphere and especially all of the staff who couldn't have been nicer to me and the guests I brought with me.
It was a great place to unwind after a busy campaign day, where you could sit and talk about anything other than politics.
I remember the night of Barney Frank's visit in'04 along with Gov. Rendell's visit in 04 & 06.
I have been back since doing politics for the Dems many times since '06 and know that on my next visit I will miss stopping by the Holiday.
Best wishes to all of the staff, and I hope you find a new home that is just as friendly.
