Amuck, little good bad, The Moat Rats, Ugly Blondes

Growing up doesn’t happen in an instant. Amuck is in his 30s, but the rapper still eats sugary cereal and laughs at toilet humor. Tonight, he’ll perform along with little good bad, The Moat Rats and Ugly Blondes. The EDM-influenced beats Amuck raps over are similar to those found on the songs of little good bad, a high-energy electro pop duo that blasts out pulsating bass drops. Conversely, while its performance of Radiohead’s “Creep” as a swing tune is an extreme example, it’s no stretch to say that collective the Moat Rats isn’t easily boxed into one genre, mixing everything from R&B to acid jazz. And rounding out the lineup, rock band Ugly Blondes will be playing the first of its four Pittsburgh dates this summer. - Alex McCann
