Colloquially referred to as "Bulgarian Hall" this venue hosts a wide variety of (primarily dance-oriented) events, such as the monthly Vecherinka (Bulgarian/Balkan dance) as well as monthly Cajun, Zydeco and Honky-Tonk dances featuring local an touring bands. This is where the fabled all-night post-Folk Festival dance party takes place. This place is a fabulously preserved survivor from the days when ethnic and union halls could be found all over town: a nicely sprung floor and a good bar, correctly placed on the right as you walk in. The basement hosts a small museum of Bulgarian folklore. The hall sells frozen quarts of home-made soup: well worth checking out.
