    Good article. I doubt that Mr. Reilly spends as much time worrying about the working conditions of adjuncts and contingents, and the associated learning conditions of students, as he apparently spends worrying about Federal agencies and their "entanglement" with religious issues. The majority faculty at Catholic institutions of higher education, and at the non-religious colleges and universities, are badly paid and badly supported adjunct and contingent faculty who are not going to take much comfort from Mr. Reilly's defense against attacks on "liberty" that are not apparent to most people, of whatever or any religious persuasion. Indeed, if religion is the issue, why not take Father O'Malley's line? That "Ideally, you practice what you preach." Unless ideals are beside the point.
