Adagio Health's Transforming Women's Health Symposium

Women’s health care is as important as ever. With Republicans in charge in several levels of government both national and statewide, access to women’s health care, particular access to safe abortions, is under attack. Valerie Jarrett, a former advisor to President Barack Obama, will be in town as the keynote speaker for the second annual Transforming Women’s Health Symposium. The Omni William Penn Hotel is hosting sessions focused on the opioid epidemic, the U.S. maternal health crisis, sexual harassment in the era of #MeToo, health equity for women and other marginalized populations, and sex education in schools. Registration is required, and tickets include lunch and networking session.
