A Seat at the Table, Your Place in the Park

-Live, local music by jazz ensemble Lee Robinson and ISKA -Leon's Caribbean Restaurant food truck. -Free family activities and hikes with Parks Conservancy educators and our partners at the Heinz History Center The From Slavery to Freedom Garden, located at the Frick Environmental Center, was planted in partnership with the Heinz History Center to promote understanding of the African diaspora. The garden, an extension of the From Slavery to Freedom exhibit at the History Center, showcases foraged plants that were used for food and medicinal purposes by freedom seekers, as well as vegetables used in home gardens.
