    With all due respect, John, I think your critique of "these people" is ill informed. The vast majority of the people who participated (including Briget) in this rally are fully aware of the dangers of fracking (the picture above plainly conveys the message with frack crossed out). The woman pictured with the little girl (I know them quite well) has spent time in handcuffs conveying that message. As one of the organizers, I'm aware that there are some incongruities but you have to take people where they are.

    Your suggestion that Vermont, New York, New Jersey and Maryland (Maryland? Please) are instructive for Pennsylvanians is also misinformed. Real bans would really ban. Is Vermont being drilled, New York, New Jersey? No. Are they accepting toxic waste, permitting pipelines, allowing other infrastructure? Another question. Maryland? Maryland isn't breathing easy, they are treading water. Martin O'Malley screwed them over.
