@Bill Scott thanks for the clarification. We have been calling this "Pittsburgh's first festival of stand up AND improvisational comedy." It often does get covered as the first festival. WDVE has a stand up festival every year and there has been at least one festival of local improv groups. We give credit to pgh's long comedy history on our site. I think the community has changed in the past few years, making the time right to put pgh comedy in the spotlight in a big way.
